The University of Reading’s Centre for Agri-Environmental Research conducts inter-disciplinary scientific research to reconcile the often-conflicting demands of agricultural production and environmental protection.
Its focus is on the inter-relationships between agricultural land-use and biodiversity, and current research is examining the declines of pollinators in the UK, the cause of these declines and the projected impact on UK society.
