Celebrate Insect Week and STEM with this free 30-minute quiz! You and your class (7-11 year olds) will meet a STEM Ambassador who will introduce themselves and host a fun quiz on Insect facts and knowledge.
The quiz will feature 10-questions based on the theme of Insects that require pupils to use their knowledge and skills to answer. All questions are multiple choice, and we suggest that children work individually, in pairs, or in small groups to write their answers down. At the end, the STEM Ambassador will reveal the answers to allow for self-marking. We can then share our scores in the chat.
After the quiz, participating classes can put questions to them for the remaining time. These will be submitted via the webinar chat function and the host will then pick a selection to be asked.
This session will be run over Microsoft Teams. There will be multiple schools on the call so cameras and microphones will be disabled for all classes. The Teams link to join this webinar will be sent in the confirmation email, and then again 24 hours and 30 minutes before the webinar.
