Meet at the car park in Pig Lane, Bishop’s Stortford and head south along the Stort towpath.
Plenty of damselflies should be seen, including Banded demoiselle as well as a selection of the larger dragonflies, including Emperor.
The walk will then take the path into Thorley Wash Nature Reserve to see what insects can be recorded.
In total, a 3 mile walk on firm and flat ground. All welcome.
